Ingredients:
- 500 grams boneless chicken, cut into small pieces
- 1 cup gram flour (besan)
- 1/2 cup rice flour
- 1 tsp ginger paste
- 1 tsp garlic paste
- 1 tsp red chili powder
- 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
- 1 tsp cumin powder
- 1 tsp coriander powder
- 1/2 tsp garam masala powder
- Salt to taste
- Water as needed
- Oil for deep frying
Instructions:
- In a mixing bowl, combine the gram flour, rice flour, ginger paste, garlic paste, red chili powder, turmeric powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, garam masala powder, and salt.
- Gradually add water and mix well to form a smooth batter of thick consistency.
- Add the chicken pieces to the batter and mix well to coat them evenly.
- Heat oil in a deep frying pan over medium heat.
- Drop the chicken pieces into the hot oil and fry until they turn golden brown.
- Drain the chicken pakoras on a paper towel to remove excess oil.
- Serve hot with mint chutney or ketchup.
